FAQ's

Big Sky Brews Cruise is more than just a pub crawl – our focus is on educating our guests about the brewing process and the different styles of beer at each stop. Your Brews Cruise guide and the staff of the breweries you will visit are very knowledgeable and will gladly answer any questions.
Our Pricing includes transportation between breweries, a behind-the-scenes look at a craft brewery, an overview of the brewing process, an education about different beer styles, and (the best part!) 12 delicious brew samples to quench your thirst.
Included in your tour pricing is 4 samples per stop, so that is 12 samples of liquid gold! Additional pints may be purchased at your own expense. You are not obligated to drink each sample provided. It is highly recommended that you arrange transportation or designate a sober driver to drive you back to your home or hotel at the end of the tour. Your guide will happily provide you with local taxicab information at your request.
Tours typically last 4 hours. Please be sure to arrive approximately 5 - 10 minutes before scheduled start time to assure a timely departure. In order to keep a timely schedule, we do leave on time.
Big Sky Brews Cruise is perfect for you bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, corporate events, reunions or just wanting to hit the town with your favorite group of people. Special pickup available for an additional cost depending on location. Custom tours are available for up to 11 people in our tour van or up to 25 people in a luxury mini coach. Is there a particular brewery, cidery or winery that you want to try? Let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your perfect tour! Please email or call for pricing and availability.
We work closely with the breweries to ensure that we're not coming in at times that will negatively impact their day-to-day operations and your experience. We select the brewery lineup for public tours. For custom tours, we're happy to take requests, though we cannot make promises and guarantees.
All tours will meet outside of the Whitefish Theater Company (O'Shaughnessy Center) in downtown Whitefish. Address: 1 Central Avenue, Whitefish, MT 59937. Just look for the Big Sky Brews Cruise van!
Yes, we require everyone to be 21 years or older. We like to be law abiding citizens and will check IDs before leaving as a courtesy to the breweries and other customers. A valid ID is required.
We will be in operational breweries, so the ability to control yourself is paramount for you, your fellow tour members, and the facilities’ safety. We want you to have a good time, but within reason. Note: If Big Sky Brews Cruise guests arrive intoxicated at the tour departure location, it is at the cruise guide’s discretion whether to allow them on the tour vehicle. If you are turned away due to intoxication, you will still be charged in full for the cruise. Also, if you start drinking earlier in the day and become intoxicated during the tour you may not be allowed back on the vehicle, or into the next location, and may have to arrange for your own return transportation. This is at the tour guide's discretion.
If you know you are running late, please call us at 406.303.3559 and let us know. To be considerate of other "cruisers” and the breweries, we will not leave any later than 5 minutes after the scheduled departure time.
Alcohol consumption is NOT allowed in the van. A cooler with ice will be provided to store your growler, crowler, or bomber purchases for post-tour consumption. A light snack & bottled water will be provided. Food may be purchased for an additional charge at the third stop. Food may be brought on board, as long as you clean up your mess.
Tours require a minimum of 4 passengers. You do not have to book 4 people on tour; it is just the magical number needed to "cruise". If the minimum passenger count is not met, Big Sky Brews Cruise will call/email you within 24 hours of your scheduled tour to make arrangements to move your reservation to another tour or discuss additional options.
We will be in operational breweries at times so please dress appropriately. Closed-toed shoes are REQUIRED for safety reasons in some of the breweries, so leave your flip-flops and sandals at home, please.
Just contact us! In some cases we are able to accommodate special pick up & drop off requests for an additional cost, especially for custom tours.
We are cruisin' the streets of the Valley! The breweries unfortunately do not have lake access, so this is not a boat tour.
All Weekly (Public) ticket sales are final. Tours cannot be exchanged, rescheduled, or refunded (unless the tour is cancelled by Big Sky Brews Cruise). But life happens! Custom tours require a 7 days cancellation notice for a partial refund. Custom tour cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. For all tours Big Sky Brews Cruise reserves the right to cancel tours due to unsafe weather or unfavorable roadways.
